I am not a Canoe. Been a member for about 5 years and sold a car on here. But this can be seen as Canoe-ish.

About 4 Years ago I posted a website on here called www.statewidelist.com (a statewide craigslist search engine) and you guys checked it out and liked it. I had to change the way it worked in 2012 and the functionality was not as good. Now I have changed the way it works again in 2014 and wanted to tell you guys about it. I built it to find cars and parts for us anyways.

Could you guys go check it out. There is no advertising on it. Let me know how it functions and what you would like to see changed or improved.

Thanks!

www.statewidelist.com would make for a better link.

Not bad, but it did pull up a bunch of deleted posts to go with the active adds.

It worked good for me. In one search I found stuff from all over the state I want but have no way to drag home. I am trying to tell myself a ford F5 that may not have run in 50s will make a 300 mile trip down the Thruway with a tuneup and maybe bleeding the brakes.

When searching Minnesota, nothing showed up under Minneapolis. I had to click the 'direct results' every time. Other than that it looks good.

Useful. CL should have had this function from the beginning.

CL actively tries to foil this sort of search. I think their mission statement is to be local/regional.

Seems pretty great. Worked well for a couple of my normal searches....Im with wally, it makes me slightly depressed to find things I want that are on the other side of the state and I have no hope of affording to get em...but aside from that I like it lol.

Now you need an App version

Were you the guy who built it because you were looking for the Westfalia?

Weird. Can you shoot me the link so I can look at it?

No. But those are pretty cool.

I built it to find a Locost 7 and an ITA car way back when.

I found this in line at the hardware store. It touches on all my twisted wants except shiny paint. The wife said I could but I'd have to drive it every day. I'm just afraid 160 miles a day of fuel would kill me.

I find this very useful - thank you! One suggestion for CT, could you include the Fairfield County CL from NYC?

Thanks again for your development efforts on this site!

Ok guys I put one more change in today.

Instead of scrolling though the cities. I made it so you can select if you want a single list which sorts by latest date or the seperate city list. I think both can be useful at times. Let me know what you think.

You'll need to log in to post.
