Zombies said: Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk Date: Saturday, September 4, 2010 Time: 12:00pm - 2:30pm Location: Ferris Park (at the corner of Pine and Shiawasee) The undying question: Can zombies feed the living, instead of... the alternative? To answer this question, I am having the first Lansing zombie walk on this date, city permitting. That's right, this is your excuse to dress up like a zombie and join me and an undead horde as we make our way to the capital building! "But why?" you ask. "Why hold a totally awesome zombie walk in the middle of our fine state's capitol city? Do you do it for world, or even municipal, domination?" "No," I casually reply. "I'm going to do it so zombies can feed the living for a change." That's right, no catch to the zombie walk other than I ask that if you actually come to bring some non-perishable goods. Cash donations will be accepted as well. All collected donations will be given directly to the Lansing Food Bank, who will be bringing a truck to the starting point of the event. At this point I'm still in the process of getting this event cleared with the city, but if East Lansing can do it, so can we! Only 3 rules to the Zombie Walk: 1. Please no actual violence!!!1! 2. No property damage. 3. NO ACTUAL ZOMBIES NEED APPLY OR ATTEND! Lastly, as a personal favor to me, I ask that you invite ANYONE YOU KNOW who might be interested. Coworkers, friends, family. When it comes to helping the poor and having a social conscience, we need as many people as we can get! Don't forget to "like" our group page to make communication easier! People, we must rally with an anti-zombie defense posture before this spreads out of Michigan (since EVERYONE is leaving Michigan it is inevitable)
What say ye?
