Posted this to their social media about an hour ago and their publicist has confirmed they are parting ways.

These guys were my first introduction to Electronica/House/Synthpop.  This was back in the mid/late 90s, I was traveling up along the lake headed to Canada in Tonawanda NY and there was a radio station called something like Energy 108 and Daft Punk's Around the World was the first song I heard.

Not speaking ill of the dead, but there is not a Daft Punk song that I like.  I don't have a problem with electronica, but they are just not interesting to me.

It does seem like after all this time that they would just stop making music together, rather than publicly break up.

Those crazy robots. Was rocking them this weekend during a workout. Their catalog will play on for many years.

Thank god Kraft Punk is still here.

Daft Punk and Jamiroquai is all I listen to while I work on my car ... somehow it relaxes me and keeps me from throwing wrenches through the windshield.
