I've definitely been spending too much time on this board: When I first saw "LeMans", I thought that you had misspelled "LeMons".

It's all the French's fault.
I did suggest on another thread that someone make a movie about this race series for cheap cars where the officials assess bizzare penalties for minor infractions in addition to generally humiliating the entrants.
Then I remembered back in the '60s where to be eligible for the 24 Hrs you had to(a) had to have room for a suitcase of a mandated size, (b) the horn had to work (c) the car had to carry a spare tire and (d) during every pit stop you had to remove the spare and it had to at least touch the ground...
