I had to help a friend move early but turned it on at 77 laps in. Next thing I know I'm waking up as Logano crosses the finish line so I can't really comment on how the race was because I slept through the whole berkeleying thing

Kinda regret staying up late after my midnight shift to watch the entire race. Three wide racing was a plus as were the single car breakaways. Lack of carnage/ attrition made it a watchable race for a change. Kept telling myself.. well, they didn't wreck... yet. GWC w/ yellow finish was probably the biggest let down... but ya always know that could happen.

Kinda surprised, not a bad race at all.

Agreed 100%. While the justice system may be innocent until proven guilty, the average snope doesn't think that way.

I didn't get to watch the race. Too busy spending a beautiful day working at the ice races on Lake George.

Anyway, I'm glad someone other than the "big three" won.

I liked Keslowskis response when he was asked what had gone wrong with his engine.

"We had an oil containment issue." With a smile...

I agree … but in this case there's not going to be a trial (as far as I know) all that the judge decided was on a no contact / some sort of restraining order … to the best of my knowledge Bush hasn't been arrested … or has he ?

if no arrest, then no trial, then how does he get back on track ?

Everytime I hear the name Joey Lagano I think he is some teenaged Disney tv show starlet. Not sure why.

that's what I meant earlier when I admitted that I understood that NASCAR was a "private club" and you get to play by their rules … as they make them up … but I guess my point was that he's being treated this way mostly because of the crap that the NFL has gone through this yr. even though all their problems have had the courts involved to a much higher degree than in this case ….

no trial, seems like he's pretty much SOL as far as his career is concerned … time won't make this any better or go away

NASCAR has a "road to recovery" program that he can enroll in. Think Tony Stewart and AJ Allmendinger style. If he licks the proper boots shiny enough he may get another shot. Finding a car owner that will take a chance on him will be a tough sell though.

I believe that's for substance abuse, and Stewart's never been involved that I can remember.

I think Smoke enrolled in anger management classes when he was with Joe Gibbs racing?
