You guys are my tribe, and I am glad I found you.

Nope. I survive post-op pain on ibuprofen and stubbornness.
Just grateful, that's all. Realized I needed to say something after all the Covid E36 M3 and the support you guys have thrown everybody's way.
I realize I talk to my wife about GRM the same way I talked to my parents about my bad influence friend Josh in jr. high. I'm always happy to brag about some helpful thing I've learned on here but avoid general references. She still refers to it as "your CarCraft friends"

Hey now. Im not alright! Or, im better than most you run into, in which case i feel bad for you and your town. Cause im definitely not alright.....
In reply to Toyman01 (Moderately Supportive Dude) :
That was seriously me the first time I went to the Challenge.
In reply to Pete Gossett (Forum Supporter) :
The Challenge is on my bucket list. It was on the calendar for this year but as screwed up as the year has been, that didn't happen. I'll put it on the calendar for next year and try again.

You're fine- normal, really. You've not met my other friends.
Just wait for the initiation ceremony. I'll bring the tabasco sauce and the giraffe. Who has the inflatable T-rex from last year?

That was a Megaladong
John,
Thanks for being there, thanks for putting me in your tribe. Lobster on me if you are ever in Maine.
I attended my first Challenge in 2019. I met Stampie who introduced me to Joe (poop shovel?). I also met Mike (Dusterbd13), Gameboy, NONACK (Chris?), mndsm and BigBen with the sweet Opel GT. I'm sure I'm missing a ton of people as I tried to talk with everyone. I even had an awkward moment in the hallway at the hotel with JG (sorry!). We kept trying to walk past each other by going to the same side of the hallway lol.
You guys are the craziest, most accepting group I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I was hoping to go this year but the pandemic squashed that. I'm really hoping to go next year!
This place is the best on the internet AND real life. Wish I could hang out with everyone more often.

I'm sorry you weren't there this year but if you had been you would know that Joe is now referred to as "Berk Joe". Joe isn't poopshovel. Poopshovel is similar but cooler. I might have introduced you to poopshovel also but I can't remember because every time I was around poopshovel I had way to much to drink.
You all have been like family for so much of my life. Knowledge on everything from cars to home repair to medicine to mental health so many here have come through with advice and support. It almost became a punchline whenever I was flummoxed Jodi would ask "what do your car friends say?" Thank you everyone for all you've done for us in good and bad times and making our life so much more enjoyable than I ever could have alone.
