Do I really need a Glock 29?

Talk me out of buying a Glock 29 to use as a carry gun.

Get a Ruger, not a plastic toy.

Do it. 10mm kicks ass.

Why would I ever try to talk you out of doing something like that?

The SR1911 is the only one I'm interested in. It also happens to be unobtanium.

Glocks are like the Yankees I have never met anyone who was indifferent to them. They either love them or hate them.

I like my p345 and plan on getting an LCP, but 10mm does sound pretty sweet.

Well, I'm kind of wanting a 10mm pistol. It sort of narrows my options down. I've heard really, really bad things about the EAA Witness. The Glock 20 is too large, and the 1911 variants are $$$.

It's pretty much impossible to get a Glock 18 for civilian use. The Glock 29 is more powerful anyway.

The Rock Island Armory 1911 I shot was a nice gun and all the reviews I have read of it have been positive.

I have shot a Glock model 29, it was a fair shooting piece.

The GLOCK 18 falls under Federal control, as as they came out after NFA cutoff date, there are ZERO 18's in civilian hands, the closest you can get is a Class III dealer sample. There is the rare converted 17, but it's still very, very, very rare.

I don't even think there's a readily available conversion to run 10mm through the USP.

Those sales would be highly, highly illegal, then.

I've seen them on Autoweapons.com as transferable weapons and also on Shotgun News as transferable weapons.
