Normally when I see personalized plates I think Corvettes with husband and wife in matching satin coats or yuppie Porsche guys and their slick hair. But now I've been thinking that I might want some for my Miata to boost my street cred and let people know I'm no Bob Costas. So here's some ideas I'm throwing around, feel free to post some so I can steal them or critique mine.
ZOOMX2
MX5 FTW
CNE HNTR
U COSTAS
ANSWR IS
or the ever popular
BERKELY
What you guys have?
I like "CONE HTR" (as in HITTER!)
or "ZMZMZMZM" (zoom zoom zoom zoom)
No no no no no no no no personalized plates. Gives me a headache trying to figure them out.

It was supposed to be an abbreviation of my mustard yellow TR6's given name, Ziffy Whomper.
I configured it up on the spot when I arrived at the the Montebello DMV in LA and they was a communist Russia length line. There was no line at the personalized plate window. This was a LOOOOOONG time ago....
So it didn't work out very well, I still saved hours and hours of time.
Loved the TR6, except for the stromburgs (or course) and the orrible rear shocks.
I've always been weird about personalized plates on my own stuff. While I don't make it a habit of driving recklessly, "ZOOMX2" is a lot easier see, remember, and call in than "U7Y 98L."

If you've ever wondered about my screen name, it's based on my vanity plate.
Nitro Yellow Green 1995 Neon, commonly refered to as NYG. An homage to the Sub-Lime Mopars of the 70s. The 95 is redundant, since it's the only year the Neon was offered in that color. Only 1501 were ever painted that color. I have two of them.
Hence, NYG95 + Georgia plate = NYG95GA
My 2nd one has the plate NYGTWO.
If I can pick up an NYG ACR (unlikely), it will complete my collection, and the plate will be NYGTOO.
I liked MAXIPAZ and TEMPON for my Topaz and Tempo...
UCOSTAS sounds good.
I really want PRUS ETR on the truck, but it would get keyed in seconds here in La La land. .
I have two....one my wife isn't too crazy about it though....
Here's a license plate generator I found. Try out your ideas. Have fun.

Kim's MINI is L8APEX, which is the same plate that I had in Alabama (which my friend Greg in AL now has!)

Yep, that was the first car it was on.
I would rock "RAM ROD" on the P71 if some other fool in Washington didn't already have it.
There's some Lexus around here with O0Q00O or something similar.
my ACVW reads as 356 WTB. Not many people get it. but for those who do under stan.
I go back and forth on these somebody with an A4 here has 0000 that is both funny and upsetting
If they had the punctuation Id love to get MileyR/T for Miley
I have to get neonacr and vipracr and Ill just have to flip those once I get the viper
The only time I ever had a vanity plate was on my then-new 95 Mustang GT. That one read "P51 GT". Since then I've decided that I'd rather keep a low profile, so I don't engage in such tomfoolery anymore...

I transfered my registration to a new state recently and thought very seriously about ZOOMX2 for my plates. Then I realized that it wouldn't help me one bit if I were to be pulled over. I drive through 4 cities in 3 counties in 2 states to get to and from work, and all are crawling with law enforcement. That settled my internal debate.

I have a lot of fun with mine. I have had numerous people ask what it stands for. WB3KQU
If I didn't have a fancy frame on the plate it woild be easy.
The problem with vanity plates is they are easily used as evidence in divorce cases.
