Former co-worker just bought one because he's run out of room for car seats-- he's the one who originally sent me the video above.
Maybe he can chip in with some of what he's learned so far-- I've had a note from him that he's been working over the sound and insulation on it, and has found it pretty DIY friendly so far.

Dang, that's only a 20ft trailer? Those vans have a shorter wheelbase than I thought.
