I really wish I had not clicked that link. I have wanted one of these for a long time.

You know what you have to do.
I'm expecting a decent end of the year bonus from work this year. That should get me the bags, or nearly there. It's just a waiting game now.
In reply to Nick (Bo) Comstock: Nick, you have to do Disney once. You won't believe us until you do so just get it over with.
I've been. Once. With the wife unit and child of appropriate age. Won't do it again. OTOH, since I fund it she goes annually with the offspring. Shrug
And i go to disney, regularly. Now, i havent paid to get into a park since I moved to florida, but that's me. I really like the mythos and whatnot surrounding magic kingdom. Lots of cool behind the scenes stuff. There is a reason so many kids make a wish it, though. A child will always see it for the magic, not for the 12 bucks a plate nachos or 5 dollar cokes. Also, space mountain is dope.
Nick, consider a gopro or something similar for your trip to Disney. If you take a small ice chest, you can put it in a locker inside the park and save a bundle on drinks and what not. If you are going in California, Legoland is pretty cool for smaller kids too.
I do it all the time. I have a beautiful set of spare tail lights for the 914, a really nice steering wheel, extra set of alloy wheels and a spare transmission. No doubt I will eventually need the transmission though.
Recently, I purchased a Glock 26. With luck, I will never actually need that either.
Yep, I just more or less impulse bought a GMT400 Silverado that I really didn't need to buy, since I have the wagon. Oh well though. Sometimes I wonder if 'enjoying the single life while it lasts' ends up being self-fulfilling, since it seems to create more and more situations that cause me to continue to be single...
Oh yeah... I've spent an ungodly amount of money on new mtn bikes and related gear this year.
Last year I bought a JDM A/C kit for my Mini that I will probably never install...
I am sitting at my desk right now staring at a pair of Iron Maiden signature guitars that I enjoy having, but not really playing (new Fender Dave Murray California Special model and a Jackson (made in India) Adrian Smith model).
I have 6 cars... all of them in some state of "need"...
So yeah... I am constantly spending money I probably shouldn't have...

Luckily for me (I guess...), I do NOT like a '59 neck profile at all, so that pretty much eliminates every Les Paul made in the last 20+ years from my purchase radar. Since I already have 3 of them (an '84 Studio, '71 Standard & '80 Firebrand), this is not a bad thing...
There's a gun show this weekend, and I have an understanding and supportive better half, that shares in some hobbies with me. I'm hitting up the credit union on Friday for gun show money, and have a handful of specific things I'm after. I have a price in mind for each, know what I can get them online for, so if they aren't purchased at the show, they will still be purchased.
We bought a used ATV from a friend over the Summer. Got a call from a friend, "hey you still want my fourwheeler?" Apparently I asked to be told when he was selling it. That was on a Thursday, I discussed with SWMBO, we had a new to us ATV on Saturday. Was a good price for what it is, but a larger unplanned purchase.
We don't do that kind of stuff all of the time, but do our best to make it on one salary, and put most of the other into savings, so we have it if we need/want it.
We have a weakness for Mission/Stickley antiques, our house is too small for the furniture we have, so we quit going to antique stores and shows for us. We'll still go in search of gifts. However, we've made a lot of purchases over the years for furniture that we liked, and cost much more than something we could have gotten at a warehouse store. We choose to spend the extra where we want on what we want. I've only had reservations about one buffet purchase, it's beautiful, but was pricey, and purchased right after we moved back to AR, I wasn't back to working yet, but we bought it anyway. Today, I'm glad we have it, still beautiful, love having it in the house, we like it so much that we named it, Jimmy the buffet.

We've got Legoland here in florida too, probably 40min or so from wdw. Depends on where mr. Comstock is staying.
