real or fake christmas tree that is... lets hear it people.. whats yur preference.
ours is fake, but only cuz the dog always tries to eat the real thing...makes it easy to find the week of christmas though, unlike the real thing
Fake one is easier. Less mess, as close as your attic. No bad side. Ends up being considerably cheaper.
Real trees are nice though. Can't beat the smell.
just put ours up tonight.
there are a few of things i've said i would never do.
if two out three ever happen i will put a bullet in my head.
We have a fake one, back when I was little we use to have real ones.
I hate it, and plan on getting real ones when I have my own house.
Real.
I have usually done the hike out to the farm to cut my own but this year I'm getting one in a dirt bucket so I can plant it rather than just throwing it away.
Keepin' it real here - our one family tradition since my kids were babies is we go out to a tree farm and cut down our own Doug Fir. Did it yesterday, it was partly cloudy and 53* My 13 year old daughter lamented that it was much more fun when it was snowy and cold when we cut the tree down when she was little, before global warming.
Real. I am upset with my family for not actually cutting it down the past few years. I was going to do it this year, but it is looking like I won't be back home until the 17th. Mom will want it up before that. If it isn't up on the 17th, I'm going up to Wisconsin and cutting one down.
As long as I spend Christmas morning with my parents, there will be a real tree. If they put up a fake one, I'll go and get a real one.
Fake, probably nothing this year since we aren't having the entire family over to our house this year.
Had real ones when I was little, loved the smell. But I'm lazy now, so.............
I haven't had a tree in my own residence since I moved out six years ago. I guess that puts me at "no tree".
My folks had real trees before I came around, and quit after a bad experience. They had one up for all of a couple days when a praying mantis nest hatched. Hundreds of the little bastards all over the house.
Ever since then, fake trees.
Aw, praying mantis are cool. We had a hatch on our porch, they were everywhere.
We always do real, even the past few years when we had to put it outside due to cat issues. I love having it on when I drive up at night after work, it's so pretty. But, no time off and no funds this year = no tree. Maybe next year.
If we have a real one, I have to cut it, bring it in, set it up, tear it down, and burn it later. With a fake one, my wife sets it up, and puts it away. What do you think we have now?
In the interest of Santa I will make a real attempt toWhoop it up for Christmas this year.I will forget all the E36 M3 that happened in the previous eleven months and focus on other people for 2 weeks . Floggings resume after the first of the year.Fake for now, till my attitude changes
