This is the first time I've used it. I didn't even know it was there until now.
Look at your google analytics, David. It's probably the most visited single-page on the site. I guarantee it's in the top 5.
Exclusively, and for a variation on the theme I think the forum could have a "Flounder" or maybe "Patio" subforum that contentious threads are moved to. Keep that off of the "Latest Topics" link so people have to hunt it down. Basically if you don't like conflict stay out of there. Brilliant people here and hearing what they think and why they think that way is always educational.

+1 it's pretty much the only navigation function I use unless I'm looking for something specific.
90% of my GRM browsing is done on my phone.

Don't worry, this question has nothing (as in nothing) to do with any potential changes to the message board. I use the feature every now and then and was just wondering how others felt about it.
90% of the time I use the latest topics. 10% of the time I use the 'your posts' link and the other 10% of the time I jump directly to the Classic board. Yes I really do spend 110% of my time here.
that's all I use …unless I'm trying to find a particular out of date thread … and the search isn't helping … especially since the subscribed feature is buggered again … nothing on my profile about threads I'm watching … but if I then try to click on the heart for the thread I want to follow … I get the notice … "already watched"
it was like this right after the re-skin … then started working … not it's not
I can click on anyone else's profile and see what they're watching …just not my own

Same here. Now I can also catch this thread on "your posts".
I have never used the drop down thingymabobber.
But i use Latest Topics exclusively, and that's what my shortcuts in all my browsers to the site point to.
I never used it at all -- didn't even know it was there -- until it was mentioned in a thread about a year or so ago. Since then, that is the only way I browse the forum ever. I can only describe it as being knocked off my horse in a flash of light, never returning to my old pagan ways.
In reply to David S. Wallens:
So, why were you asking, the response has come back overwhelmingly that it's the single most import button on the whole board. This is the start of other improvements isn't it???
I typically use "Your Posts" and "New Topics". I use "Latest" if I somehow screwed up "New Topics" and it's only showing a few posts instead of the several pages it should be.

You ever log out?? Explain please, I don't understand.

As I said a few times already, I was simply curious. Simply curious.

WB, if you click on the "Jump To" drop down menu, Your Watchlist is at the bottom.
As for Latest Topics, I use it all the time. Especially on my phone.
You'll need to log in to post.
