I am Interested in EV topics but would prefer they stay in general population. Tagging is enough.
Honestly I would go the other way and merge all the subsections besides GRM, Classifieds, Off Topic.
Everything discussed can fit in one of those sections.
I don't bother with the other forums because TBH its too much work to click through for one or two new posts. Would I love to read about tools? Sure. Do I want to read about them in a separate forum? Nope. I will go to Garage Journal if I do.
Motorcycles? GRM
Motorcycles for sale? Classifieds
Bicycles? Off-topic
Tech tips? GRM
One thing I would really love would be the discontinuation of links to old editorial content and plugs/reviews for new vehicles being disguised as posts in the forums. Nowadays I look at who the thread starter is before clicking on the thread and pass over it based on who started it. Want new car discussion? I will read Motortrend. Want old GRM content? I will look at back issues.
ProDarwin said:No. None of the subsections make sense. The volume of traffic here isn't that high. If anything, there is a tagging functionality that offers the ability to sort, isolate and organize threads without the need for subsections and also allows for threads to be tagged with more than one.

Basically this ^ + "your posts" is all you need.
Yep. If they were physical buttons on my end, the labels would be worn off by now.
You'll need to log in to post.
