Saw on the news this morning that he's the front-running Republican candidate!
And he revealed how his hair works. It's not exactly a combover. Hair's still growing on the top of his head, but it's thinning. So he swirls it around to make it look thicker. It's a comb-around.

Nope.. it's a wig.

A turd with M&M's sprinkled on it would be the leading candidate in either party if it was getting the press he is now...

I'd vote for him

I know you are teasing.. but having worked for the guy.. I would not vote for him if he was the only one running

The only thing scarier than the thought of Clinton as POTUS is the Republican party not having anyone that can beat her.

Trump slams McCain for being ‘captured’ in Vietnam; other Republicans quickly condemn him
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump slammed Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), a decorated Vietnam War veteran, on Saturday by saying McCain was not a war hero because he was captured by the North Vietnamese.
“He’s not a war hero,” Trump said. Sarcastically, Trump quipped, “He’s a war hero because he was captured.” Then, he added, “I like people that weren’t captured.”
Trump’s comments came during his appearance at the Family Leadership Summit, a day-long gathering of about 3,000 social conservative activists that is drawing nine other Republican presidential candidates.
I'm sure he honestly believes he wouldn't have been captured, because he would have had his lawyers sue the North Vietnamese. He plans on dealing with ISIl the same way.
Sanders continues to make statements that are not popular with Big Business. And yet I see posts here that go "Trump is the only guy not afraid to make waves" when I think they should read "Trump thinks he can be most successful by being the biggest jerk". Which seems to be working! But that's not leadership; that's bullying.

Don't forget his Twitter spat with El Chapo, which then sends him to the FBI instead of kicking Guzman's ass like he promised us. Crazy ol' Trump, always throwing us for a loop.

Even though I don't agree with many of Sanders' ideas the more I see him the more I like his sincerity and that he seems to follow his convictions. Too bad Hillary is going to flatten him because I think I could be ok with him winning.
In reply to Wally:
Obviously I'm a fan of Sanders (I've yet to disagree with any of the the positions I've heard him take) but I agree that this will be an uphill struggle for him against Clinton. Trends do indicate things are improving for him though; http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/pollster/2016-national-democratic-primary
I would guess there are a lot of people that agree with him since there is very little coverage of him. I had to look for info on him while Hillary and Trump are everywhere.
I've always thought Trump was a blowhard and his recent antics prove this. That crack about McCain's capture... he tends to open his mouth before he puts his brain in gear and I can just see him doing this over and over again. Let's face facts, the President in this country is nothing more than a figurehead. But figurehead is still a very important job; if you want an example of setting the wrong tone and the damage it can do, see Carter. For that reason alone I wouldn't vote for Trump.
The hairpiece... I make it a point not to judge people on their personal appearance. There's a lot of things people just can't help and it's crappy to make comments about that. Having said that, I'd have a lot more respect for him if he were to go natural with whatever hair he has left or at least show better taste in hairpieces.
So far to me, Jeb Bush looks like the best choice on the Repub side and Sanders on the Dem. Hillary's handling of the Email thing concerns me, all that is a little too slick.
Trump knows the hairpiece is ridiculous.
It's very intentional. He keeps it because it keeps people talking about him. Free publicity.

I started to write a reply stating why I thought the President is much more than a figurehead, and then I remember G. W. Bush's tenure, and will change my stance. Instead of "I think you're wrong", I'll go with "sometimes your take on this is quite correct". I believe Obama himself has done quite a lot more than anyone you'd call a figurehead, and the GOP is quite in agreement, as has been shown by their pointed attacks on him personally.
In mid-1968, John S. McCain Jr. was named commander of all U.S. forces in the Vietnam theater, and the North Vietnamese offered McCain early release because they wanted to appear merciful for propaganda purposes, and also to show other POWs that elite prisoners were willing to be treated preferentially. McCain turned down the offer; he would only accept repatriation if every man taken in before him was released as well. Such early release was prohibited by the POW's interpretation of the military Code of Conduct: To prevent the enemy from using prisoners for propaganda, officers were to agree to be released in the order in which they were captured

Trump received four student deferments between 1964 and 1968 while in college and an additional medical deferment after graduating.
Sort of rooting for him for the comedic factor. As far as McCain, he endured a lot and handled himself admirably. For that he's a hero. As for conducting a failed mission and being captured, perhaps not as admirable.
