This kid showed up in my feed. He started rebuilding an engine in his dorm room and got kicked out so he's working on it inside an old Honda Accord. Studying Mechanical Engineering- go figure.
Send the kid a GRM Sticker. Goes by Dorm Room Mechanic.

I've been seeing his videos come up for a while now. That's really impressive how he's gotten creative about that stuff.
I work with a guy that was permabanned from a hotel chain for rebuilding a Crosley motor in his room and making quite the mess.
Advantage of living off-campus... we rebuilt my roommate's inline-4 in the kitchen of our apartment.
No fun carrying that thing up/down two flights of stairs!
I rebuilt a Honda VF500F engine on the kitchen table of a rented row house in Baltimore during college.

Rebuilt a 3SGTE out of my Celica All-Trac in my room. Flying sparks from a dremel in a carpeted room, what could go wrong.
Circa '98-99 ... Kodak 110 on the CBS side table was how I documented my life back then, lol.
My wife is super supportive of me, but she did draw the line at an engine rebuild in our apartment when I was in vet school. I can't say she was wrong, either.
Although the lease agreement forbade car repairs in the parking lot, we were friendly with the manager (that might have changed if I rebuilt the engine in the living room), and got permission for an engine swap. I bought a short block from NAPA, borrowed a hoist from the mechanic and swapped everything over in the parking lot.
