yea, those loader operators are a crazy bunch. I saw one at a construction site (house my uncle and I were building) walk his sideways into a smaller section of the basement he was digging.

Yeah, I used to have a friend that operated a Menzi Muck, which is sort of a backhoe without the front half, that unloaded rail cars. He could climb up on to them by himself too.

20+ years ago when I was younger and dumber and running a backhoe for a living I used to be able to put one on a loading dock. Basically a 5 foot high step. The power of hydraulics is an awesome thing to behold. It was an old Ford 555. Man that thing was strong.
