They were discussing this on the radio the other day, and mentioned that Sherri Sheperd once believed in one of them so much that she maxed out all of her CC's and run up bid debt.
And then ABC gives someone with this level of intelligence a TV show??
Funny thing, even though I'm an atheist, my displeasure with the Family Radio folks isn't about their crazy beliefs. It's because I used to like listening to shortwave radio, and when they started out on shortwave in the 1980s, it seemed like every frequency they used was only about 3khz away from the stations I was trying to listen to. I was no ham operator, just a DX listener with a cheap portable reciever, so I didn't have a way to dial the interference out. Still..gotta admit I couldn't stifle a chuckle or two when Mr. Camping blew it back in `94..
For the rest of you that will be left behind, don't forget about How to Profit from the Coming Rapture. Stock up on beans: Become a millionaire! Not that money means anything anymore.

Bottlecaps man, bottlecaps are where its at!
Harold Camping already threw us a date that passed by. I study the Bible and wonder about these guys that claim God has spoken to them with important dates. Camping is off base. Will he be handing all his cash out right before?
If the rapture happens, I'm throwing a party. Just saying. And if the world does end, I'm driving to work and getting sloppy drunk, then breaking into the Chevy dealer up the street and joyriding the ZR1 they have in the showroom.
Hey, you won't be needing all that land after the rapture, and I'm offering a cool $2000 for it right now... And yes, you can keep living on it right on up until the end of days. Everybody wins! Just sign here.
^^ Will someone please explain to me how it is morally wrong for me to go do that? If no one comes up with a credible reason I'd better get off my butt.

Ummm.....Hummer dealerships met their "End of Days" in 2009...
If you take a 4 by 8 piece of wood and scatter corn on it with trebble hooks you can capture turkeys and birds

Ours is on Friday. I've told Janel that there's no point in getting her a present due to the day of reckoning. I'm not sure she's buying it.
See, the problem is only the lucky people get to attend the rapture. Everyone else gets the enjoy the rest of the Apocalypse/End Of Days. Not sure about Zombies, but there's a locust plauge or so.
Dammit. When it ends on Saturday at 6PM that means I'll never know who gets People's Curse at the 'Shine Country Classic LeMons race. Wonder if we can get Jay to move it up a few hours?

Ours yesterday.
25 years.
Dutch Christmas (Sinterklaas, Jan Hagel Day) this year is our 25th. Damn, where'd it go? Hope the zombies don't screw it up. Guess we'll find out about 1801 Saturday.
OK, this explains it a bit more: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=300269
7K years from Noah's flood. If Noah's flood was 7K years ago and not 5K years ago and if a day is 1K years and if... That Camping doode is almost as far out there as evolutionists.
Well I read the Left Behind series, so I consider myself an expert. If the rapture happens, its just a hey, convert to Christianity wake up call. I also have tickets to the Phillies on Sunday and am looking forward to the tailgate, so I hope nothing bad happens.
If it does though, its only going to take a couple hundred million tops, so not exactly an apocolypse, but at least then we'd know that Obama probably is the anti-christ.

My birthday! Good thing i'll be drinking!
I miss all the cool stuff, I'm stuck working until 7. I've been surounded by his followers in Times Square all week. Damn you Rudy Gulliani for running off the hookers and addicts so people feel safe here.
What I can't figure out is how this idiot got a second chance. I grew up in a church where a lot of people belived him the first time. Sold everything they had and spent it on billboards, put down thier pets the day before, all kinds of crazy and yet he found another round of people to go with him this time
Whew. This means I won't have to pay back all of those student loans, and my credit card bill from buying stuff for the wedding.
Also good news, by 6 pm on Saturday i'll have flown to a later time zone- more specifically to a place that isn't a city, and that contains an ample supply of guns and ammo, along with good supply of long boards with nails sticking out. I'll be fine

Haa, does that shortwave bring back some memories. I listened in the late 80's/ early 90's till my dx radios crapped out. Can't remember all the stations but one powerhouse sticks in my mind (maybe your referral), WWCR I think. Hosts like Jeff Bennett, Tom Valentine, William Cooper or AKA the black helicopter crowd. Ruby Ridge, Waco, UN/ NWO, Militia Movement, Illuminati were standard fare then. Plus lotta interesting stations I can't even remember now.
Never bought a new receiver after that but now I listen to PD/ FD/ EMS calls when I'm online at Radioreference.com . I listen to my county's 911 calls and tip a metro reporter w/ any good leads. If you're still a radio guy, you might like this.
