They still do a night pass (7:30?-close) for $199, I'm not sure about student discounts on it. 

My boys and I have Bronze passes and that's good all day weekday and weekend/holiday after 4. About double the night pass, but the kids get the use out of it. I'm in Holden, So a 25 minute drive to get there  

I need to block off 1-2 mornings on my work calendar from 9-11 to get myself some morning runs in while they are freshly groomed. 

The roads were wicked sketchy but I managed to bang a euye, pick up some grinders and make a packy run.

(am I doing it right?)

Well, this is exactly what happened. We had 3-4" of snow overnight that changed to rain this morning and compacted down to 2". It clogged the blower and each shovelful seemed to weigh a ton. I got everything cleared by noon, the temp dropped and it started snowing again. Here's a pic of our deck:

New Englanders love to complain. Too cold. Too hot. Too much snow. Not enough snow. But you're right, the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons far outweigh the Winter.  And Annie and I will be in South Florida in February.

It really depends on if you like cake or yeast donuts more. I prefer cake, so I like Dunkin. The original glazed at Krispy Kream are about the same as just eating 6 tablespoons of sugar.

I live at a 1000 feet in Starksboro (Central-ish) Vermont. Was an interesting ride into Burlington this morning to open my wife's store. Told her to stay home with the i3. 

My Mazda 2 does extremely well with Hakka 10s and studs. Especially with the traction and stability control turned off.

You want to know New England listen to Noah Kahan. "I'm mean cause I'm from New England" LOL

Just waiting for the lakes to freeze so we can go out and have some fun with the Sports Car Club of Vermont.  BTW, frozen lakes and rivers are legally considered state road/highways in Vermont. Max speed, 50 mph!

Wouldn't be that bad today if the town plow contractor paid attention to the reflectors I put up warning of the curb, instead of ignoring them and digging up part of my yard...

So I've done as much as I can for today. I came in, and I'm ready to relax. I present these two pics.

And tomorrow I'll attack any snow that invades my territory tonight.

The forecast for tomorrow is 37 degrees and sun, so I think there'll be a lot of melting.

It also depends on if the Dunkin franchise uses frozen, made at a central bakery, or made in house. The frozen ones are garbage. 

We lived in Westerly RI and Pawcatuck CT 2002-2004. One of the coldest followed by one of the snowiest winters in recent decades.

As a NE Ohio native that grew up in lotsa snow.. I loved it. My bride is a southerner and she hated it. So we abandoned ship after two years.

I miss it.

My wife and I are running out of reasons that we haven't moved to Wisconsin or the Upper Peninsula. More snow than we have here in Chicagoland is a big part of the draw. And we don't even ski. 

We're all big fans of the stuff here.  We ended up getting about 8" total.   No big deal for the k2500 to manage. 

I did discover last night that one of the leaf spring shackles had rusted through, so I tried to repair that.  I gave up on getting the bushing out of the spring around 11.  Meh, the bed can be a suspension mounting point until it warms up a bit.

Well we ended up in ATL by way of a stop in Tampa. I didn't anticipate either of those but you never know. At least cars don't rust here.

When I did the from diff bushing in my jeep GC I used a hole saw of the correct size to remove the rubber in the bushings. I then used sawzall to score the metal sleeve and hammer and chisel to get the sleeve out.

Problem is more and more of em STAY. 

All this snow is the reason I have never lived more than 3 miles from I-10 in Louisiana and Texas. 

 I have spent some time in Maine in the summer and its great except for the ticks jumping onto you from the trees and black flies.
