Facebook died today.

As some of you know, Facebook is down today. Saw this on Reddit. 

So, what does that mean for me, other than not keeping up on the latest anti vax theoreys?

Nothing really other than you're going to hear aboutit on the news.  Instagram, Oculus VR, and a few others owned by FB run on the same setup so they are also down

I heard someone wonder how long it would take Facebook to pay a rasonmware ransom.

it's still down for me.  so, more than 2 hours?

If only.

Is it bad i kinda hope it stays down? World may be a better place, and craigslist would make a comeback. 

As much as I use FB, I'm oddly indifferent.  There is no "FOMO" if everyone is "MO"...

As much as I like FB really enjoying it being down.

I thought I got banned for trolling/E36 M3 posting, but nope. Wife told me otherwise.

Google your term of choice and news source of choice and there will be something about the whistle blower.

 I just thought it was your Canadian showing through. 

This is highly inconvenient for me as I use Whatsapp for a majority of my communication with family and friends. 

And my instagram car-porn dosage is impacted as well. What am I going to do while taking a E36 M3?

Messenger, marketplace and following businesses are all that I really care about it for. 

If Twitter disappeared, I'd be a sad panda (ironic as I write some of the most long winded responses). 

I was getting ready to post a $950 pair of barn find 914 Porsche's to Enablers Unanimous when it went down.  It being down probably saved me of someone here from years of rusty missery.
