All this stuff, led me back to Lemmy and I ran across this............it made me teary this morning. Lemmy wasn't the best bassist, songwriter, or vocalist, but damn was he unabashedly him.

An add on to my original post.

Jimi Hendrix Guitar/vocals

Jack Bruce bass/vocals (Cream)

Jon Lord organ (Deep Purple)

Mitch Mitchell drums ( The Experience)

All from around the same era and same-ish musical range. Bruce and Hendrix would probably play off each other very well. It would be interesting hearing Lord take solos with Hendrix or counterpoint solos. 2 lead vocalist would be interesting. Mitchell doesn't have quite the ego of say....Ginger Baker so they'd get along better. Pretty cool psychedelia/classic rock there imo

That group sounds perfect. And please tell me that this Geddy fella can simultaneously play bass and keyboards while singing. smiley

One of my concert highlights!

Got to see them opening night for the R40 tour in Tulsa. They had rented the entire arena for the week before the show so they could get everything perfect before they went on tour. It was amazing.

For an a cappella boys band, Jon Anderson from YES, Stink (Sting from The Police), Rod Stewart, and Micheal Bolton. Let's call them The Raspies.
