Next remodeling question. The back wall of our 1-car garage is OSB. I'd like to dress it up and am thinking some sort of faux wood paneling would look nice. I've never attempted anything like this and am unsure what material to use. We'd like either a multi-hued distressed look or maybe something that resembles shiplap (my wife watches a LOT of fixer upper). What could I use that would look good, stand up to humidity and be relatively easy to install?

Maybe some cheap LVP/LVT flooring? It's very durable, waterproof, etc. Comes in many colors and patterns.
In reply to dyintorace :
Is there a sawmill near you? If so stop by and see what they do with their thins. Thins are wood boards less than an inch thick. That are typically ground up into mulch.
I bought mine for $5 a pickup load. ( about 500 sq ft. ) I got a load of black walnut, 2 loads of white hard maple, a load of Cherry, a load of white oak, plus 2 loads of misc.
Run it through a bench top planner to make it smooth and put it up! it doesn't matter what wood and if you stain it varnish it shellac it or paint it.

Pallet wood?
That’s what I did in my shop. It’s labor intensive, but it’s free.
Your wife can find it on Pinterest.

Lulz. So true. Super labor intensive but can look good.
One concern if you use real wood and do any sort of hot work (cutting, welding, grinding, etc) is the two do not mix at all unless you like burned down garages. My small garage (no hot work) is all painted OSB. My big garage (hot work OK) is going to be steel paneling on the walls.
We ended up finding some cool reclaimed planking at the hammer store. Many brads later, the back wall looks much better!
That does look a lot nicer.
An idea; hit it with white or nearly white wood stain? Really want to get jazzy, go over that with high gloss poly.

Wife is SUPER happy with it, so we're calling it done! :)
Seems like the smart move.
