Awesomeness! It is the minimum hot rod! It totally needs the roof. That rear 3/4 view is perfect.
I'll bet it's bagged. It's just at show height. But it's never going to be practical, so all of you guys looking for a Canyonero are probably not the intended target.

I see that with a funny car cage sticking out the driver side and me wearing an old Gasser mask while driving it back and forth to work.
I am 6' 3" so I would have to cut a hole in the roof to fit.

It's not wrong, it's just very, very different and I don't understand it. But yay for diversity

It isn't wrong at all. I dig it. While something similar would be cool, that particular specimen is a little too extreme for me though.
Is that a TPI motor? what do you think that thing weighs? 0-60 would be "traction limited", I think

That Beetle was called "Death". There's some cool pics & vid of the build online. It sounds badass too.
The only thing that jalopy needs is a coat of flat black and me driving it.
