I'm out of tiki torch fuel. Now I'm standing over my grill like some kind of low rent peasant. I'm also almost out of charcoal.

My local Taco Bell gets things right exactly zero out of ten times. Now I have to be "that guy" sitting in the drive through, making sure they didn't short me a burrito or try to sneak in something with vegetables in it.

You are disqualified from this thread. Absolutely nothing about Taco Hell is a first world issue. I think even hipsters can't eat their in an ironic fashion it's that bad. I hear Trump is considering boarder crossings into and out of every Taco Hell as it certainly isn't an American place.

P.S. this isn't racist. I love real Mexican and TexMex food. I lived in Mexico for 7 months and visited for work and pleasure dozens of times. Nothing about Taco Hell is remotely Mexican or TexMex, it's just a recycling plant for all the dog E36 M3 picked up in parks and streets.

I'm having serious second thoughts about moving across the country.

I finally decided to buy a PS4 so I could get in on the GT6 racing league stuff (yep, wait for it).

I ordered one that came with Uncharted 4 (which I'm REALLY enjoying so far) and snagged a couple of Star Wars games too.

Then I bought GT6 and was barely able to contain my excitement, anticipating the awesomeness to come. I harkened back to '03 or '04 during one of my more prosperous periods when I bought a PS2 just so I could play GT3.

I got home before looking closely at the GT6 case and seeing that it was a PS3 game and not compatible with the PS4. I guess it pays to do your research and not live under a rock... or in a Rod Mill.

I immediately hopped on craigslist and found a used PS3 with 8 games and 3 controllers. I wasted no time snagging it. One of the games, as luck would have it, is GT5.

First World problem solved. Spoiled berkeleying rotten.

In reply to kazoospec & Adrian_thompson: I was not defending or promoting Taco Bell, just pointing out that they have a better track record (compared to Chipotle, the very first world, hipstery fast food Mexican style place) of making burrito shaped things that stay together when being consumed burrito style.

Taco Bell hasn't poisoned as many people as Chipotle either.

Even with Google's help, I can't find the thread where we talked about pocket sized lithium ion jump packs, but I don't want to start another learn me thread since I know one exists.

Dammit, you beat me to it. I was going to point out that Taco Bell also has a better record of not spiking your food with E. Coli and horse meat. Seriously, why do people still go to Chipotle? There's a new outbreak of something in their food every other week.

Taco Bell has nothing to do with actual mexican food other than calling the food mexican food names. But Glen Bell was very much an American and so were his restaurants. He started selling hotdogs and burgers after WWII in California and switched to tacos a while later. Nothing more american than selling other people's ethnic foods as our own and then making out sweet on the deal.

My first world problem is I don't know if I have enough time to get the Renault R8 even though my wife actually likes it and thinks we should get it. What's a man with an empty garage spot and the cash to do?

That's the danger of using fresh ingredients. We go there because the taste & quality of food is better than any other fast-mex places, and everyone loves their lime chips.

McDonald's food will mold and rot the same as any other food. The pictures you see on the internet are because it was left out, with little to no moisture. Stick a burger in your fridge with just a drop of water; leave it in a zip lock or tupperware for a month. It'll be covered in mold*.

*The bun will. The patty will likely have some, but not too much--they're all burnt pretty good, so there isn't much left for mold to actually grow on. Go get food, any food, burn the hell out of it, then try to get it to mold. Won't work.

Leaving them in cars that fog up will still have them looking brand new 6 months later, although the car will smell like death.

Taco bell is just the only chain restaurant of any sort, fast food, sit down, hybrid, whatever, that doesn't send me immediately to the bathroom. Whether that says more about my digestive system or taco bell I'm not sure. (This makes road trips suck, because I'm either starving and angry or not starving and stopping every half hour resulting in anger)

After having worked at a McDonald's and a Wendy's in high school, I really don't know how McDonalds is still in business. Of course I wonder how Starbucks is even a thing, so I guess my finger isn't on the pulse of the average consumer.
