Only because you've never seen one. I suggest you look up Moore, OK. MN doesn't know a damn thing about tornadoes compared to OK/KS.
No kidding. Anything that can flat out decimate an entire neighborhood is terrifying. I think that a Hurricane scares me a lot more though. If I knew I was going to be hit by one, I'd pick the hurricane over the tornado. But the likelyhood of a tornado actually hitting me seems much lower, even back when I lived right in a tornado hotspot (although not as bad as KS/OK). Don't know if it is true or not, but I heard that the highest amount of tornadoes per area is actually Florida. Which would make some sense, seeing as it is so flat.

North minneapolis got hammered pretty hard right before moore. I mean it wasn't a cat5, but it was wild. Idk. Im one of those that just doesn't getake scared by weather.

It appears that the storm fizzled out pretty quick after hitting Florida.

Darlington is on. Practice but no qualifying.

now it is the Mid-altantic's turn. even if it never turns back into a hurricane, having it sit off the coast for a couple of days is going to do some damage via flooding
