I'm building a motorcycle trailer and a friend has three ramps/runners like you would see on a Holesclaw trailer, a channel with a 45' kick at the end. These also have the ramp that goes from the channel to the ground. I only need one but he doesn't know what the fair-market-value is. I don't want to insult him nor do I want to pay more than what I could buy it for new.
OTOH: I could have a fabricator at work bend up the same thing from brand new metal. What's fair and what would you do?
