I know, in the grand scheme of things, stupid marketing drivel is not very important. Nevertheless, I get annoyed when a fast food company claims that their salads are a fashion statement.

"We view salads as fashion," says David Farmer, vice president of product strategy. "Expectations change. Millennials are looking for interesting flavors."
I buy food to eat it, period.
…oh come on, what about when they stack sushi on a beautiful nekid Asian lady?

"pretty girl with a side of tuna roll"
In that case, I'm going to have even less interest in the "fashion" aspects of the food than normal.

Let's face it, they're in the business to sell food. I doubt they'll have problems selling more salads.
Right but this is Chick-Fil-A saying that. The analogy would be a Camry commercial where they talk about how sporty their new cars are...oh wait.
Generally if I'm going to use food as a fashion statment I wear a white shirt for spagetti night.
