As a Browns fan, I never get to talk smack. However spending a few days in Pittsburgh while Cleveland is on top of the division is an awesome way to make up for it. I was flapping my yap all day. The Steelers losing to the Jets certainly helps put some salt in the wounds.

Luckily I will be safely back in Michigan by the time Cleveland screws it up.

Steelers fans are obnoxious creatures. They should be captured and studied under closely supervised conditions. We need to figure out how to prevent it's spread and what lunacy drives the condition. This madness must stop.

Since this is smack talking about the Steelers, as a Packer fan, I have to rub it in.

Well, our destruction at the hands of the steelers highlighted that a.) We obviously weren't prepared for their gameplan, and b.) We need much more depth at Corner.

Its not everyday that the Colts toss up 34 and still lose.

Everybody is yapping about Brady and Manning as usual. Prediction: Arizona is the first ever "home" team to win a Super Bowl.

I thought the birds quarterback just had a season ending knee injury. It would be cool to have a team playing a home game in the Super Bowl. Can't believe it hasn't happened yet.

Yes, Carson Palmer suffered a torn ACL and should be out for the season. I did not know that a team had never played at home in the Super Bowl, that definitely would be cool interesting. Especially if they lost.

As for me... Well, I'm a Panthers fan, and after our most recent primetime embarrassment, I have no trash to talk.

Brave prediction... With Drew Stanton at the helm?? I dunno....

I grew up a 49ers fan, no good reason except I jumped on the bandwagon in 1981 and never jumped off. Not looking great for them, I'm not sold on Kapernick. But I was born and raised in Philly. Now that I just moved away, I find myself less interested in the 49ers and more following my hometown Eagles. In butt-fumble we trust...

As a Browns fan at this point the last 14 seasons we would be talking about next year, and the potential for a new coach. It is almost like the Paul Brown curse (as I like to call it) might be broken. Yes I know there is a lot of football to go, but for once October and November are not the worst months to be a Browns fan. On top of that I live in the steeler belt, and am happy to watch the peeling off of stickers off of cars after the steelers lost to the Jets.

No.....the Bears made the Bears look bad. The Pack didn't have much to do with it---- Green Bay is a mediocre to poor team with a great quarterback.

The Bears need to fire their entire coaching staff.....immediately. This Bears defense is the worst in team history----which is saying something as the Bears have been around for as long as pro football has been around.

pathetic--- these are not easy times for Bear fans.......

Oh yes, we exist. Few and far between, but we are out there. I consider myself a rare breed.

In reply to yamaha:

I thoroughly enjoyed that game. Comebacks are the best. However, I believe that was more of the Bears making themselves look bad. They fell apart.

If our O-Line continues to play the way they played Monday night, we probably won't win but 1 more game (if we're lucky). I think that will change though. It's a pretty obvious problem.

Whenever I feel bad, I remember that it could be worse... I could be a Raiders fan. At least I've been able to witness a win this season.

I've been having a good time with Bears losses.......partly due to being able to post "Da XXXXXX" to my Uncle's FB page every time they get spanked.

Step 1 with them needs to be "Get rid of Cutler" though.

I have been a fan of Newton since he was at Auburn.....great QB that has just been underutilized and been flying under the radar. They're slowly improving the supporting cast down there as well. If they keep this up, they'll be a contender for years to come.

As a long time Bears fan I agree completely with this statement. I wish they had kept Josh.

I agree. It's just frustrating that last season, we make the playoffs for the first time in 5 years, and then decide to get rid of every single wide receiver on the roster. I don't understand why we decided to rebuild when we were finally figuring things out.

How about that game against the Browns?

How's that for smack talk? Unfortunately it doesn't mean much coming from me seeing as the Panthers loss was probably more embarrassing.

i've yet to hear any bengal fans admit they got curb stomped on thursday night by us.

first place feels odd. kinda like it's been so long that i don't know how to feel or act because of it. i'm very confused. happy, but confused. can't wait until we lay a beat down on baltimore at the end of the regular season.

SOLIDLY in the first spot. For what? 36 hours now? Don't worry. The Brown-eyes will be back to the bottom where they belong before you know it.

If it's brown, flush it down! Seriously. You are aware every team in the division has 6 (ish) wins, right? I wouldn't go pounding my chest just yet. Especially knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that on the odd chance the Brown-eyes or Bungholes make it to the playoffs, you berkeleytards will blow it in the first round.

Pretty sure Andy Dalton and Marvin Lewis stomped their own dumb asses on Thursday. As they do in every prime time game.
