I suppose its better than listening to the voices in my head on a long trip. I've tried to listen on many different systems and to me it sounds like there is a certain frequency range that is run through a speaker in an old coffee can. HD radio stations sound way better if I can put up with the commercials.
If I'm planning a trip I can load up a thumb drive with FLAC files or I have these things called CD's, I don't know if anybody remembers them.
