I took some big tire banners and pasted them on. The glue hasn't held up great though, I need to fix them a little.
That’s as good an idea as any. I’ve been covering mine with stickers.
Black valve cover wrinkle finish. Or what about the Skid Factory's favorite: red wrinkle finish ?
Prime with Bullseye 123 and paint any color that pleases you. That alone will make a significant difference.
My ex just painted them white and stuck brand decals of whatever car parts she stores in them. They look nice. Likewise, I am also a fan of plain white cabinets in the garage, although mine are sans any ornamentation.
