Today is my birthday ... a milestone: the big seven-five. I’m a boomer born in ‘48 when Truman was in office. Football game analogy, I’m entering the final quarter, and fortunately I’m still in pretty good shape after the first three. I still have a hefty bucket list of things to do and lots of enthusiasm. So I’m looking forward to the fourth quarter and maybe even a bit of OT, because it’s never too late to have a happy childhood.
Win this one for the Gipper!
Happy (shared) birthday, from a different quarter! Always happy to see your posts continuing to live and enjoy life.
Happy Birthday! Keep on keeping on!
From another Truman-era boomer with a hefty bucket list.
Happy Birthday! (This is your birthday and Christmas well wishes)
Happy birthday Gary. I enjoy your updates from RI. Keep em coming.
Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas, too!
Pour yourself a nice glass of carefully selected wine, put on a timepiece that makes you look down at your wrist and smile, and have a wonderful evening.
Enjoy the fourth quarter, my friend.
Happy birthday from a slightly younger boomer here, Eisenhower's first term.
Happy birthday Gary! Some games are the most exciting in the 4th quarter!
According to Queen Elizabeth, Martha Stewart and Emily Post, Diamond White is the proper color to celebrate ones 75th birthday. May I suggest these:
Oh Gary; if you take Woody's advice I recommend Domaine Serene Evanstad. =~ )
Happy Birthday, my 75th is on the way shortly so I'm with you. I've had a couple of setbacks but I'm still revved up and ready to go.....
Happy Birthday from one of the youngest Truman Boomers. My bucket list is still filling too....How we made it this far amazes me the most. Keep chasing the apex!

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments and thumbs-ups. I really appreciate it. I know I made the bravado comment about the bucket list and enthusiasm, which is all true. But in reality, the real reason I want to survive Q4 is so that I can see our three granddaughters grow up to be successful women, which I'm sure they'll be. This pic was taken for my birthday dinner at the Tree House Tavern in Warwick, RI. It's a family tradition.
