I heard gin, it's like a bat signal for me.
Current favorites monkey 47, though it is RIDICULOUSLY expensive.
*Laughs in Single Malt Scotch* lol
Unless it isn't 40$ ish a bottle???
Looks like about $60-$70 per bottle.
So... middling compared to most of the whiskies in my cabinet.
It's amazing what an Islay goes for and how used to it I am.
Here my current favorites are Lagavulin 16 ( $98) and Lagavulin 11 Offerman ( $80). I recently bought some Laphroaig Select ($45) and have been very happy with it since it's kinda cheap.
So for me $80 ish is "normal" and $45 is " a great deal".
Also paid $15 for a 4 pack of Untitled Art Ice Cream Cone Pastry Stout ( which is spectacular if you can find it) and didn't consider it to be ridiculously expensive, but definitely not cheap
I bought a couple 4 packs of Q Tonic a while ago. I ran out of Canada Dry yesterday so I tried making a couple G&T with the Q. I like that it's less sweet but it had almost zero carbonation after pouring it over ice.

Gin is not what I typically go for but I found this stuff a while back an totally love it. The first sip is a bit harsh so I usually put it in the glass with a few ice cubes and let it hang for a min. I'd bet shaking it would help too.
Drinking gin neat is for sociopaths.

I'm a gin fan, G&T fan, and a straight tonic water fan. No losing with that trifecta.

I tried it once some time ago, and it's fantastic. One of the best I've ever tried
