I recently discovered that one of my personal favorite bands, pennywise, is doing a us tour in support of their 1995 album, about time. They're at the house of Blues orlando, a day after my birthday in october. Swmbo 2.0 has never been to a live music show 9f any sort, in any venue. So.....first show ever, club level punk show? good idea, or best idea?
Depends on the woman. But it will be a hell of a show either way.
Besides, Orlando in October? Sweet.

IIRC, the first band I ever saw live was The Casualties. Doesn't get much more punk than that lol.

Oh i know it will be. Last pennywise show i was at was one of the calmest, friendliest pits ive ever seen, and ive seen sum41. She's just really unsure of that side of the music spectrum. But, let's face it, many of pennwises fans have gotten old. I'm not sure how many....millenials? Will be there. I just think its really funny to take her to a concert like that as her first one.

The pit at a Pennywise show will more than likely be filled with people who have seen plenty of rowdy crowds and won't wanna deal with that crap.

Yeah, its definitely not my first punk show, and the second time ill have seen pennywise. Now for the real kicker...just annound bad religion at hob on october 11th..... thank you florida.

I'm almost more excited for slayer in September. Just hoping it doesn't rain for that one.although a rain soaked slayer pit does have it's advantages

Dirt is definitely softer when its wet, i will say that. Learned that at ozzfest one time.
