We have one cat that has the LOUDEST CAT VOICE ever. She's a calico. Apparently this is linked. This amuses me greatly. As does the rest of the cat, she is a riot. 7 years old and this morning she was doing zooms around the house that involved going straight over the couch.
Calico's and Siamese are definitely the loudest of all of the cats. Though if you can even find one a Havana can be loud as well. Funny enough the bigger breeds seem to be quieter. Coons, ragdolls, and big Persians all are very quiet breeds for the most part.
My three large murder floofs. A German (Black Smoke), Russian (Tabby) and America (Orange Dilute) Maine Coon's.

We have a ragdoll and he's anything but quiet.
Janel loves the Maine Coons, but I prefer to be MUCH larger than my incarcerated apex predators instead of just a bit larger.
We have, among the menagerie, a 19-20ish lb Siamese, also known as Moose Kitten. How he sees himself:
He's actually a giant wuss, and will hide behind the 8lb blind cat if the dog gets into the 'forbidden zone'
This picture sums him up pretty well:
One of my dearly departed greyhounds was the ultimate cat foster-dad. He just loved kittens. We had several fosters plus the posse that stayed here permanently. He just loved them all.
Now Im getting verklempt

I almost ran over this idiot with the lawnmower a few weeks ago, so now we have a new cat. His name is Bill.
OMG I love him!
Can we trade? His Mama left him for a reason.
Self-trapped in the laundry basket.
Self-dumped in the bathtub.
He also enjoys the washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave.
After losing my long time companions Charlieman and Friday earlier this year, I was able to go a whole TWO DAYS before adopting more murder floofs. That is the longest time I have not had cats in the house since I was about 6.
Here's my new buddies, Remi
and Winchester

So what I am getting out of this is bill is some kind of moron, and a terrible cat at best.
Those are generally the best ones.

Yeah I have 55lb's of Maine Coon's. Its getting to be a bit much. The rescuse has another boy for me as well in the 24lb range and I just don't have it in me to foster fail again.
I've never had a kitten, grown cats show up at our place all the time. We don't keep them all but attachments have been made
I wouldn't let just anything sit on my MAEs

To be fair, Remi came already named and it fit him well. Winchester came with the name Prince William, which didn't fit him at all, so we tossed around a few before deciding on Winchester. Their full titles are Sir Remington, Chief of Extermination, and Lord Winchester, Master of All He Surveys.
Congrats Javelin!
Here's mine. Wandered into the garage weighing less than a pound, with fleas, ear mites, heartworm and his ribs showing, crying. Cleaned him up, fed him, and he attached like velcro:
Here he is five years, 17 lbs, and lots of love later:
He's still a velcro kitty:

I'm with poopy, nothing makes me turn into a blathering idiot quicker than a kitteh. I have much more self-restraint with buying models and cars than cats, and you guys know how low that bar is...

So here I sit with 3 rescued cats & a rescued Doberman laughing about this!

My kids would be heartbroken. Bill got a clean bill of health this week, so I guess we're stuck with his goofy ass.
They are fascinated by model building.
