... and I say "bitches" in the kindest possible way.
I am back in the custom scene working for these fine folks:

Thank goodness I build cars better than i do garages.

Hate to be a prude, but I'd like to keep this forum family-friendly. I don't need my 6-year old using words like that.
And yes, when he does I'd correct him, but what if he decides to use that word for the first time in school?
I love the front fenders on this
It would be great to see step by step photos of how they're fabricated. I'm sure they used a hammer and dolly and an english wheel, but did they use a shrinker/ stretcher, and if so, at which stage?

If he says "scene" at all wash his berkeleying mouth out with soap.

That is some straight Rat Fink/Hot Wheels E36 M3- and I love it. Cool shop.

I don't get it, I think I missed something.

You objected to this word
GPS expressed the opinion that the truly offensive word was "scene"
I agreed with him, and indicated this by using the +1 button.

BTW, I'm going to derail this thread by pointing out that my Gertrude is almost as pretty as the purebred critter above. (Plus, she wants me to get the car finished so she can ride.)
Ahh, I get it. I generally stop paying attention to people when they spout profanity. I didn't even see "scene".
Congrats on the new job, sounds like a great gig.
I've seen that shop postings come up in my Indeed and CareerLink job searches in the Pgh area. IIRC, I posted a thread here before w/ their link. Great to see a GRMer bag that job.

This
It is just not needed. Does nothing but lower the opinions othes may have of you.

Maybe that was the intent??
If we bag the job, my first project will likely be a 67 'cuda. A former drummer from The Who is doing a theme car/rig. Its a 67 'cuda towing a motorcycle trailer with a motorcycle, all done in a The Who theme for their charity organization. I'm not a body guy, but they have 10 of those. I'll be building the driveline, suspension, and doing all the electrical.
Think I can convince him to do a VW V10 TDI swap?
...but you MIGHT be able to talk him into shenanigans with a 426 (7.0L) HEMI (rated at 590 hp).
Add an 8-71, and you should be able to top 750 hp.
JoeyM wrote: BTW, that's a REALLY aggressive stance.
You can get that same stance on an old Land Rover if it has a rusted frame and you take the roof off. The whole truck cracks in half.

A lot of hot rod guys did that to add caster angle to the steering back in the day. Dry lakes cars and such where going in a straight line is important, and turning is less so

I certainly hope not. I'll encourage a Viper V10 though.
If you keep it Mopar and need any help/suggestions in the driveline/suspension areas give me a shout.
You'll need to log in to post.
