I've sent out e-mails to everyone on the list. All but 8 of you have been paired up with someone. I apologize to the 8 people that remain for having to wait but as the initial rush has subsided and I wanted to keep a bit of stock to keep the game as random as possible. You should still have an e-mail from me though explaining such. If you didn't get an e-mail please let me know. It's very possible that I missed something as randomizing the list makes things super confusing

Anyhoo, a few FAQs real quick

• I didn't include anyone's screen name in the gift game. I do this because randomization makes it possible that I might pair two people together who may not get along so well. I thought this might dampen an otherwise positive game. It's completely voluntary to disclose who you sent a gift to after the recipient receives it though.

• the person you're sending a gift to is not the person sending a gift to you. I did it this way so there wouldn't be any hard feelings between individuals if someone sent something they considered valuable but received nothing but bubble wrap and peanuts.

Other than that, it has begun (dun-dun-DUN)

We are now 100% for assignments vs participants. I'll keep registration open a bit longer but it looks as if everyone that was going to participate has already chimed in. Late comers are always welcome though.

You realize that if everyone checks into this thread, and you announce every few days that you have updated the pairings, it may not be overly difficult to identify folks?

Anyway, my garage is packed. Do they make flat rate boxes the size of a C-130 cargo hold??

I'm not too worried about people doing their own research. If they wanted to bad enough, nothing I could do would stop them

The item I was going to send comes in a set of three, one went awol. Still debating in sending the other 2 along with a few other items.
