This is a stone beach on the north side of Lake Superior. I can only imagine how long these rocks have been beating against each other to become smooth.

Thank you, I wore uniforms for so long that once I could dress myself I started to enjoy it.
This morning I got up for the sunrise. All the good pictures are on the camera until I get home.
This is a preview shot of what is to come.
Shot with a 35mm Braun (film) camera that I picked up in Germany. 1999 during a UN peace keeping mission in the Balkans we resupplied observation posts along a disputed international border. 45 minutes later that aircraft went inadvertent IMC (lost all outside visual reference to which way is up) and 'punched off' the load in the mountains. They recovered to instruments and returned safely (minus the load).
