That's a really neat town, just plan on a taxi if you tour at a port winery
I'd love to retire there. We used lots of taxis due to the red wine consumption. Other highlights beside Porto we're Lisbon and the Douro Valley

I led a church youth group work mission to Aveiro. Well, the youth pastor led the group, I led the work. Dad and I did a port winery tour and he ended up taking a nap in the grass in a courtyard somewhere
Took this over the weekend. 1970 Dino 246GT

My daughter and I take photo safaris a couple times a week in the hills East of town. On Sunday we hit the Mother Lode. There were animals everywhere. We wound up seeing three bobcats. This was the first.

Having beers with my neighbor on a sunny, warm autumn afternoon in SoNE. (I'm the one wearing the vintage GRM T-shirt).
There's an historic graveyard across the road from our house. He strolls over occasionally to drink my beer. Never brings any. Claims he can't afford to buy beer. He's a sloppy drinker.
My 4YO getting 1st, 2nd and 3rd in three different disciplines this past Sunday. She's come a long way in the last year and a half of riding.
Taken from the Jumping off Rock Overlook at Lake Jocassee in SC. Right on the edge of the Appalachian Mountain Range.

Great pic but a bit far for jumping, even for me. Is there a really big rope swing at least?
For the past ten years or so we've been doing a spooky Halloween path in our back yard for our three granddaughters. This photo is of one of the side-exhibits along the "path of monsters" this year. It took Annie and me three days to set it all up (and a couple months to plan it), so we're exhausted. But it was a fun night tonight for the kids, and they loved it. They were screaming with delight. It was well-worth the effort. Tomorrow, we take it all down.
