Is it just my antique laptop, or have things slowed down considerably since yesterday's upgrade?
Whether I click "Add Topic", "Add Post" or "Latest Topics", the page seems to take exponentially longer to load than it did before.
(Not a complaint, just an FYI...)
You're right.
As part of the new Classic Motorsports site launch we're experiencing some slowness. As all the DNS results square themselves up, it should improve and be just like before. In the meantime, it sucks. I'm sorry, and I'm working on (many) steps to get things back in order.
No apology necessary, a your efforts are greatly appreciated. I was just curious as to whether or not I had a problem on this end.
Keep up the good work.
Reminds me of the time my friend relied on the advice of the counter help at a well-known auto parts store. He let them talk him into a particular cam for his 305 Camaro. After he got it all back together, he wasn't exactly tickled at the performance. He called tech support at Crane Cams for help. After learning the specifics of his installation and the model of the camshaft he had purchased, the tech guy summed up the problem: "Yeah, that cam will work okay up top, but dump trucks are going to beat you off the line."
Yeah, the site is running real slow.
I think it's better now (6pm CDT) than it was earlier today.

"Your Posts" is completely borked for what it's worth
Wow. Seems back to normal here regarding page loads--pretty zippy.
Yea, things are speeding up. Glad to see its up. Work was long without GRM.
