RealMiniDriver, Chimp, Brad were the only three that were on the track with me, saw NO ONE else.
My connections great and every since I fixed my online GT5 works great. Maybe I should have exited out and came back into the room to refresh everything.
Damn this sucks lol
Thats crazy, I finished that race with absolutely no contact or damage to my alfa but the replay shows me with damage...
Oh and that's an Elan? it's so beat I couldn't tell

Same LOL my car looks trashed though
ok all of this is starting to make sense, i saw on a couple occasions cars next to each other jerking left and right togethor, as if they were pushing each other through internet glitching, which may have resulted in the mystery damage. they probobly didn't see each other eh? maybe this remote race thing is stressing their servers.
Those were probobly 2 of the most exiting races i've done. both i had to charge from the very last position, but in the miata race I just couldn't catch Nick's lead by the time i broke free of traffic. At the rate I was going, probobly another 5 laps and I would've caught up to him... so in other words, no chance LOL
We both did our fair share of practicing leading up to the event (often racing each other) and it seems to have paid off!
A suggestion to those who are doing practice:
Go into the Community area and open up a track in your Lounge (this may be the same as doing it in the normal way?). This will allow anyone who want to practice to just go into their community and check to see if anyone else is online and join them.
Be sure to set the regulations on the track you choose, otherwise you may end up with a herd of 14 years olds running backwards on the track screaming into their microphones about your assumed homosexuality. Setting tires to anything but race slicks and eliminating aids seems to keep such types out. (homophobes apparently abhor anything that resembles reality..)
This of course assumes we are all friends of each other, which I would encourage.

Oh darn, here I was going to start assuming people's homosexuality, but then I remembered I drive the most flamboyant purple miata and the cute little passionate pink Ginetta... nevermind
hahahahaha
I already got my Miata called "hideous" and got asked if I was gay so....lol
Chimp, who was all racing with you?

Hey, now... I resemble that remark.

I've sent friend requests to those that aren't on my list.

I have changed the color of my wheels, so we're not both in purple 'n' gold/yellow in the next race.
I was thinking the same thing.
I was reminded that my car has the same colors as the LA Lakers. I was NOT going for that at all. I was just trying to make it as gaudy as possible!
If I could figure out how to have the game put a leopard skin fur top on my car, this would not be an issue at all.
I have a chrome silver that would be awfully gaudy...

Yeah I felt guilty the whole time, like my mkI was rooting against me the whole time from the garage for not using the Mini
Oh and is there any way to run the MX5s with the tops down?
Chrome silver...oh boy haha I actually toned my car down from what I had
The fur top would be saweet! I wish you could change tops lol don't think you can run top down though
I have a practice room open for a while: 1472-6118-3615-5262-9566
booted 4 times... i give up
At least you were able to get 3 words in the 4 times you tried to stay I saw you though this time!

In reply to Apexcarver:
That's what kept happening to me Wednesday. I put my PS3's static IP address into my router's DMZ and that seemed to have fixed the problem. I could get in, but would get booted out in 30 seconds or so. Only made it past turn 1 once in 4 attempts at my warmup laps.
Its just weird because that is the first time that has happened to me.
Updated Chimp's MX5 profile pic.
Here are the results from round 1...

At least I am consistent. I've got every 8th place awarded so far.
My goal is to make a race without the need for a pit stop this time.

Don't worry, nothing was worse than me in the GT350 from the last series. Just keep piling up points and you might be surprised where you finish in the standings.
