I guess i'll have to post some pics up
this is shaping up to be a good one!
damn, 3 races left.....

I've got mine tuned to where I only get wheel spin in first, sometimes in second (if I am just putting my foot to the floor). It's weird, it acts as if it has a bit of a hole in the power around 6500rpm, but the graph shows it nice and smooth.
The picture is a bit of a lie, I actually looped it during practice and am burning the tires off in first there. If you look just behind the car you can see where I left marks coming back on the track. Once I'm up to speed, I don't smoke the tires too often... maybe some slow corners. Oh, and those are Sport Hard tires.
@Grizz... I am at little less HP, but also a bit lighter. That said, I have a few go-fast bits that can be added if I need them. I just don't think I do. And having run a CM Class car in the first series, I know that adding everything doesn't always help.
So with the Z06's, are they just regular RM spec or are we allowed to go all out except supercharge them?
@Brad... I like the extra bit of weight, the Clio spins its meat way less than the 106 did, it's mostly leaving a corner and launching when the fronts turn red.
Given some time to eff around with the suspension and maybe the tranny and it should go much faster than it does now, I've been running on deep forest just because that was the biggest track I had a HH time on. Of course, I might change my mind again, this is the biggest problem with the PSN being down, I get time to be indecisive. I forgot to ask, do we have to kill ABS on the HH races or just the Spec races? Because ABS would certainly fix my braking issues.
Also, Random ideas for series 4:
Big 4 drs and wagons, all power with no weight reduction.$
Sub 100 hp series*
GT cars^
500PP Open Class#
$ I've got a Legnum VR4 that would be perfect.
^ I've yet to find a race where my R129 SL600 can compete

Just as they come from GT Auto... all you can add are tires.
Well, I had all these from before, so I was first going to use but then got to thinking and was like....oh hai! not quite sure yet, but I would love to use these two! Their hatches in my mind! Here's my Z06 RM
Red Xs
E: How is that Alfa? I was thinking about getting it but didn't want to drop the money on it.

Only reason I say stock weight is because I think seeing massive body roll and lumbering monstrosities travelling at 160+ is hilarious.

And not much fun to drive...
That is your opinion, I think trying to control a heavy slob is fun
Why else would I race a fully lifted, stock weight(+max ballast behind the front bumper) Dodge Ram? Besides the obvious using it to smash idiots in free runs
Oh, something else I haven't gotten a decent answer on, am I the only one who's noticed that the handling characteristics of my cars changes whether I'm running online races or offline ones?
Should I join?
I got a ps3 from the fiance for Christmas this year and have been playing gt5 ever since (only game I own)
I am not good.
I do not know how to tune squat.
I am sick of the AI spinning me out mid turn.
I enjoy the game, I use the hand controller ( don't have a wheel). I like to think I know racing etiquite but I would hate to ruin someones day because I don't know what I;m doing.
Think I should join and try to hang back to learn the ropes of videogame racing? or should I beat the game first to get better?
opinions? don't worry, I have thick skin.
and we do and are? hahaha
Oh and I love the Alfa. I love FF cars, a certain challenge for sure and the curb hopping
@daytonaer Join, I consistently snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, I've only ever won a few of the online races I join.
I've made two of my fwd HH cars oversteer while braking, so I can't tune either. Besides the best way to learn is by competing

Might be fun if you have a wheel... i can see the appeal. Some of us are stuck with controllers though. (And that's what i'm blaming my poor performances on.)
And yes... online races feel like trying to race on a frozen lake compared to offline.

Join in! It's a game... if you mistakenly punt someone, it's not the end of the world. (Though do try to avoid it. )
Beating the game will take a few months if you're a normal human being, so just join in!

I use a controller, wheels are expensive.
Ok, I thought it might just be me who notices the difference.
