Compartments aren't big enough to place a tire, so FWD drifting trays are out of the question.

Use as a substitute for clay pigeons in skeet shooting. Might have to modify or fabricate a thrower.

Are there any lemons racers out there that need a new patchwork body? I assume the separations would work just like golf ball dimples

Light weight bracketry material? The flats and assorted 45*s could be useful here and there...don't think you'd need more than one tray per car, though.

Maybe build a rack with slots instead of drawer slides and use the trays as parts "drawers."

I can't speak for the ones with compartments like that, but we sure tore up the snowy downhills riding on the flat compartmentless ones when I was in college!

Do you have kids?

If you have kids, fashion small orange jumpsuits for them. When they are bad, ground them, dress them in the orange jumpsuits. Three times a day, feed them Grade B food on these trays.

At my alma mater, University of Rochester, there is a long tradition of "traying" on the large hill behind one of the dorms. As a freshman I was traying and caught a tray in the mouth, breaking my three front lower teeth. Open tooth nerves hurt! Thankfully UofR has a great dental school and I got them fixed like new. Best part - I was a legend in my own time. As a senior a cute freshman girl was telling the story of the guy who broke his teeth traying. Didn't get me anywhere with her though

All right, fill me in. Does 'traying' involve sort of surfing the thing (or things - one per foot?), or sitting and riding it like a sled/saucer? And how would you catch one with your face in either case?

This reminds me that I haven't been sledding in a long damn time, and I have a waterproof one piece (armored!) motorcycle suit that would make it a cake walk. Time to stock up on saucers and Pam spray for winter...

In reply to alex:

I was just riding like a saucer - got to the bottom of the hill, got up and grabbed my tray just as someone came aklong with a head of steam and accidentally kicked my tray into my mouth

The fast trays were two or three duct taped together end to end to give a larger surface area, then waxed.
