And a set of coke mirrors and razors. Nice.
Which totally went over my head!
In reply to KyAllroad (Jeremy) (Forum Supporter) :
Those Subaru brake seals were in my basement for years! Glad to see them regifted.
Okay, a day late to upload pics, but mine came in from Pinchvalve yesterday! Very shiny box, and lots of good contents. Dog was interested.
First up was a phone mount (not sure it'll fit mine but I'll give it a shot, and a buckle buddy?
Along with a skeleton hand we used to pet the dog and will save for next spooky season.
A small parts tote that I will definitely use for all the small wiring parts I have lying around un-organized, a bag of ear plugs (always useful - especially with a baby coming in a few weeks), Jumper cables, and what looks to be some sweet vinyl graphics!
Whole Haul: Includes Octoberfest drinking dice, which look like they should be a ton of fun, a (motorcycle?) Brake fluid reservoir, Air Shim (pup loved/hated this one??), what looks like a timing chain, LED side lights, a few stickers (Wife liked the Team Nutz sticker), some wire, a seat belt extender, US Navy Seal book, and an Amazon echo(?).
Ton of sweet stuff, and I really need to find a home for these graphics, cause they are sweet.
getting there! Should be out Monday am.
PS. Asa, I had you pegged more as a Florida man than a degen from upcountry... either way, that game is probably something you've heard of
*edit. All packed up and ready for final tape. A bit bummed that some of what I wanted to send doesn't fit. Oh well.
A package has arrived at my doorstep!
But, alas...I am only nine hours into a twenty four hour shift at work.
Damn. Looks like I'm going to have to wait another day.
I have wanted this t bucket manual for years! Seriously I am thrilled about it. In the box was a cord w a gif on it, my wife has already confiscated it for her Christmas display. The station will be mounted some where cool in the garage, as will the license plates.
I’m not sure if the valve cover will be garage Art, or end up on a shelf in the basement.
Big thanks to New York
Well, look what showed up today...
A box from Keith Tanner! No guessing screen names here, hahahaha
It's cuttin' time!
Uhh... WOW. This is incredible.
At first glance, I see medical supplies and a piston. We're off to a great start!
Nasal tubes! You have no idea how appropriate this is right now, and I'll leave it at that.
Medical grade ziplock bags! Sweet!
Some sort of pressure gauge?
Yup, that's MEDICAL pressure gauge for something! Just don't use it on an oxygen tank. Got it.
Half a turbo!
A piston! I'm assuming it's for some sort of Mazda Answer engine.
A Micro USB cable! Can't have enough of those.
ZIP TIES!!!!
A big berkin' pin!
A 3D-printed thingy (Speaker horn? Air intake?) and some lights!
Some electronics, but what could it be?
Oh, uhh... WOW.
A "Silverfleet" branded Firebird LED color changing lamp with a little mini-Firebird standee, and even the batteries needed to make it work!
WOW.
This is better than a leg lamp!
I mean, this is incredible.
A Cadillac badge for my car badge collection!
A 1/64 ANSWER!
To round out the haul, an absolute berk-ton of awesome stickers! That Crested Butte one is my fave. Because Crested Butte.
And yes, that Firebird lamp has already found a home. I color matched to the model I built last year, because I can!
I don't even know what to say. This is just what I needed today. It's been a really rough few days over here for various reasons, and getting this today put a smile 1000 yards wide on my face. Thank you Keith! Happy New Year!

The strange piece of aluminum with tapped holes and bolts in it is a steering wheel puller. I made it when I worked at Duke and was broke and before there was loan a tool programs!
im glad you like the box, the other valve cover is garage art in my garage!

I wondered if that was a tool, or a random build. I forgot to mention the eight track player! You have given me ideas for next year. Thanks much!
I got my box together, and it'll go out sometime this coming week.
Since I've seen my recipient mention having a beer in a previous thread, I'm including two locally brewed beers with a limited distribution radius. It's like he's likely not seen before. There is one pils and one porter. Hopefully they'll make the box suck less- one of the items I planned to include got snagged from the junkyard before I got out there. Which was par for the course, because the item I went to grab was gone, too.
Will be unboxing soon. The box I shipped made it to its destination however the victim hasn't posted yet.
A box a box a box A BOX!!!!
Wait, is it THE box??
This catalog will be read.
A part that I don't recognize? Maybe a fuel filter that fits inside a line? Perhaps an AC filter?
A fuse
And proof that MAC literally makes a toolset for everything.
The venerable pac oem-2. Actually I have no idea what this does it appears to be an audio converter of some kind.
Next up a sway bar end link. Probably.
A window motor.
Probably one of the only females to stay more than a few minutes in my shop.
From a steering column. I'm going to guess e30.
Grill thermometer. + / - about 140 degrees.
A bump stop.
A channel lock pliers is one of my favorite tools. Didn't know they made my other favorite tool.
Found it.
Gah! How did your hair get so long?I assume this mirror is from the same gmt800 as the window motor.
Ok, this is sweet. More on this later.
A gift box with an led wand light. Nice!
Shifter parts and brake handle. Guessing same bmw e30. Also found the clips later.
Hagerty swag!
Stickers and Rock Auto mag!
I think this is a tool used to hold the crank while you set cam timing...
This box just keeps on giving! Lots of fuses... Wonder if Ron thinks I have a short fuse...
Very nice note! Why do I always forget to include a note?
Hmmm. I see what happened here. Guessing gmt800.
Finally I had to run out to the shop to check a couple things. First, I had these old hole saws because I thought they were cool. Might have to try to drill a hole now that I have a drill with the correct drive.
And, possibly the most awesome, is that the e brake handle fits my challenge car shifter perfectly. And it makes a super legit shift knob. It'll slide all the way down when I've got more time to persuade it.
SO AWESOME! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
The unknown thingie is an orifice tube for an AC system. Regulates the rate at which the pressured refrigerant evaporates to vapor and the mesh catches crap so it doesn't get to the rest of the system

Hey, I'm glad you liked it. I had a lot of fun putting that together. Glad to see the box arrived safe and sound.
That Targa Miata "hero card" was in the car during the Targa Newfoundland 2011 and stayed in the car during a bunch of track days at Laguna Seca, Road Atlanta, High Plains Raceway, Grand Junction Motor Speedway and wherever else I've had that thing over the past 9 years. So it's got some heritage :) I was going to put that on a post-it on the card and then forgot.
That letter reminded me to send out my inventory email. Clearly marked not to read until the box is opened.
In reply to thedoc :
Oh yeah the 8 track came out of my clown wheelie car! It used to play circus music.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
I loved all of it! The Hero Card history is cool. I will have to frame that with a caption to hang on my office wall. Super cool.
One question: what exactly is the 3D printed cone thing?

It's a prototype bellmouth from when I was playing around with those a while back. We were scaling them up and down to see if I we could show any experimental results with the flow bench capabilities I was able to put together with what I had kicking around. Should be a good air inlet for...whatever.
I figured the wood box might come in handy as well. Had some fun with the laser cutter for that. It should stay together, but if not a bit of wood glue on the joints will work. The lid is intended to fit a little more loosely for obvious reasons.
Here's some of the experimentation, your bellmouth is in between the sizes I used.
You'll need to log in to post.
