My box arrived! Happened earlier this week but I've been out of town.

CrustyKiddo says, "IT HAS A POOOPPPIIIIIEEEEE ON IT!"

So it does:

And a Prius! Sender did a good job of stalking, or it's just a fair bet that a GRM'er owns a prius at this point.

This thing is full of crap!

Hungrian Hot Pepper Jelly?! Sender, is this still edible or am I playing Russian Roulette with Eastern European Ecoli?

Challenge fodder tachometer:

Fundraiser chocolate bars! Did you pay for these?!

Loads of various hardware and fasteners:

Micro Pnuematic Gripper. Never knew I needed one of these.

See here for more info: https://www.phdinc.com/pdf/190191.pdf

Sender, WTF is this?

At this point CrustyKiddo found the Hot Wheels and ran off to play with them. Sorry guys, looks like those aren't getting regifted next year.

And many more various prius parts, terrible tools, old car mags, and assorted geegaws:

Good job sender, this was a solid 10/10 box. Gonna have some of that chocolate tonight and ponder the Hungarian Hot Jelly some more.

My son drew the "poo" and the Prius.  He's really a good artist with lots of talent.

Absolutely several of the boxed items were removed from my stash of Priuii.

The large aluminum chunk is a blank left over from a project at work.  It's been sitting around for over 15 years, and instead of trashing it, you got it.  It's a blank for machining a custom pulley for a BrecoFlex toothed belt:

The old magazines are from when I was a teenager and in my early 20's.  The chocolates, were indeed from the kids fundraiser at school.  Who doesn't love chocolate, right?

The "Hungarian Hot Pepper Jelly" sadly isn't from Europe.  My father-in-law made it from some Hungarian Wax Peppers I grew in my garden last year.

It should still be edible.

I'm glad you kiddo enjoyed the Hot Wheels.  I love the "Gotta Go" toilet truck.  I can't not buy one when I see them in them in the store.  This year, they were brown and wore the #2 on the side.  LOL.

Sorry you had to wait so long for me to get it sent out to you, but glad you enjoyed my trash. 💩💩💩

What is strange is I recently passed up half a dozen of those things at a scrap yard a few weeks ago

A *very* well-worn and heavy box was delivered this weekend! It looks like the original box finally made it! The cardboard box feels and behaves more like a paper envelope at this point, and some bits of a roller bearing/roller chain??? fell out of a broken corner as a struggled to pick up the box that felt more like a floppy sack of potatoes off the mail room floor. Plenty of rattles, so I'm excited to break into it! I had a super-busy weekend between my club's season-opener autocross, prepping to move out of the shop, get-together with my sister, etc. After the long anticipation and final delivery, I want to savor the unboxing when I have time. Look for an update this week!

I can't wait!

I have a couple of theories as to how this may have gone down... mainly involving a container of sharp pointy things, and what I was hoping would be a well protected beverage.

I know my box was delivered, but haven't heard anything about it or see the contents posted yet. I'm quite curious how it was received...

Yeah, both are tied to the same person.  I've sent out an e-mail but have yet to receive a response.  I can say though that I am showing that your person DID receive their box (they just never posted pictures).

Yes, I had seen them post that they'd received it but just hadn't posted opening it yet because of not sending their own yet. I've also not really seen them post much of anything since about then, so I hope everything is all right!

Ok, last piece of the box came in last night!  I should be able to get this in the mail either late this week or early next week.  I just wanted to get on here and warn you though:

1) The Hungarian post is slower than a slow thing

2) you might be receiving a second box from a state-side sender wink

Shots fired!

I was in a hurry this morning and 100% forgot to put a note in the box.  Heads up:  The bottles with the yellow liquid are non-alcoholic, the bottles with the clear liquid are quite the opposite laugh

After many days of waiting for my box, I was happy to see this yesterday!

This warning made a lot of sense after I opened it, but still a pretty good general statement.

The standard

I got a good laugh from this side.

Agreed

I immediately ate this cookie/snack "thing." It was pretty good.

My spirit animal, and an elf on the shelf "in carbonite."

Some good ones here. The kids took a couple, and I grabbed the Miata.

My son immediately grabbed the 3d printed rotor model. (it works!) Since he has an rx8. Lego stud tape?! What a country!

Crank pulley for engine cooler model, universal turn signal, manual trans gear selector pinky ring, a porsche center cap, and some brake hardware.

The parts for the engine cooler model.

This thing is sweet! When you spin the crank, the lobes lift up each can. My son suggested we look up the firing order, and see what engine it is. I'll leave that to him.

Thank you for the wonderful box!

I'm glad you enjoyed it- the state of my garage (general disarray) at the moment meant I couldn't easily find as many 'traditional' GRM Box things to send along, but since the can cooler took up so much space (I was really worried when I first printed one out that it wouldn't fit, but was glad that- even if it had to be sent disassembled- it actually did) there wasn't as much room for other stuff anyway.

I did not know that the center cap would fit in the pulley/harmonic balancer like that- that was an unexpected bonus! I realized that I left one thing off of the notes on the cooler (though I'm sure you could figure it out) which was that when the ice melts, you can unscrew the oil pan drain plug and drain the water out without having to pull the pan.

I realized on Monday that I should have put 'Earth Day' instead of 'Almost Memorial Day', but I was blanking on what the next holiday would be. :P

FYI If you want more of them, the PB&J cookie thing came from Costco- I snagged a box of them on a whim because they looked tasty and The Dancer has become mildly obsessed with them as the snack of choice to take with her when she's running around doing outreach.

Here's the link to the page for it: Original V6 Can Cooler

It is a model that you have to pay for, but the base level is just $10 and they have some interesting things besides this cooler.

You may notice that the model I sent looks slightly different than the one on that page, and that's because I thought it was silly to be wasting space for ice by having the opening on the valley pan be just a cutout so I played around with it in OpenSCAD and created the version that I sent out. If anyone buys the model and wants the taller valley pan just drop me a note and I'll send you my modified file. I considered trying to make an 'intake manifold' for it instead of just the valley pan, but that is waaaaaay down my list of things that I need/want to model up.
