Is it a felony to lie to the post office when they ask if the box contains perishables? Asking for a friend.

Apologies to Tahlequah, OK. Tracking hasn't updated since dropping off. I'ma try to swing back past the PO tomorrow...
I'm loaded up but the new gig I started this month is raising heck with the fire control system...
I was waiting for a couple of cool things I ordered based on my stalking to arrive (Tuesday!) now that I have them I just need to get to the Post Office. Maybe Friday if I can get there before they close otherwise Saturday for sure.
A package landed this afternoon and wow was it fun to get out of the mail box. Pictures in coming.
My assistants were very fast to sort, divide up and disappear with a lot of the plunder. Highlights a awesome flashlight, an extending 3/8 ratchet and all the ear plugs. I managed to wrench away some of the electrical connectors and camber bolts for myself. Thank you it is an awesome box.
That was a lot faster than I expected.
I didn't notice it was a standard priority mail box until I had it packed so I just printed a ground label for it, then was turned away at the post office since you can't use that label with a priority box. That's why it was hastily wrapped over with brown paper and masking tape.
Glad the contents could provide some enjoyment.

Thank you. I am slowly going back through the contents without my assistant's help. I am astonished at how much is packed in there. I admit I was curious about the shipping paper.

Lucky you got away with that. I just had a package come to me wrapped in paper that got held at the PO for pickup. It was because it was a Priority Box covered in paper and they spotted it. I had to pay the difference between ground and priority to get it. When I posted about it online people said a lot of postal employees know the boxes and will tear a corner of the brown paper to expose it.

That's exactly why the brown paper was completely covered in masking tape with some extra packing tape around the corners. Not impossible for it to be torn open but much more difficult. My wife likes to wrap packages in just brown paper to make them look nicer and I've been turned away for that before.
Well here's my stash. I waited until I got mine out to share. Ended up going USPS because of the weight and distance it was traveling.
A sprinkling of stickers to start. One has already been stuck.
Next up some collectibles. And the most intact candy canes of the bunch.
Some wires, bump stops, and tools. And bolts with "A/C Lines" noted.
Some old nuts and new nuts, from FCP Euro no less.
The rest of the rattle and candy canes.
And then this little guy already tried to escape.
Thank you for the gifts.
I've got my box mostly ready to go, I'm just trying to Tetris everything into it so it doesn't come apart during shipping.
My outgoing box is on the way! I just received my own box o' crap last night and will open it this weekend. Fun times!

Oh man, ancient memory unlocked - when I was little I had one of those (Avon?) green car bottles to play with.
In other news, my box is mailed. It is... eclectic. Something for everyone!
In reply to Shadeux :
Yup, Avon bottle.
In other news I'm regretting my decision to trust the USPS. Two days the package I shipped out hasn't moved from the regional hub, the first stop after leaving my post office. Hopefully I'll see something in the next couple of days. Might be spending part of the weekend prepping a second box...
Yay! Two Chritmasses! (Maybe)
Yeah, I ran into the same thing with mine, USPS is sucking hard right now. Fortunately mine was delivered, just took an extra week
Bums away! ...was my battle cry as I made my way past the "entrepreneurs" loitering in front of the post office and sent a box of mostly authentic crap on its One Larp of America journey. Apologies in advance to the unfortunate recipient. Were this a gift, you'd be doubly disappointed. Consider it instead a gift slash curse.
And now begins the waiting game.
Fire control solution acquired and package away! #GRMlegacybox on it's way to target for what I believe is its 4th NYG victim. Expected time of arrival at target is 2/3/2025.
Damn box has seen some E36 M3, the barcode wouldn't scan so I grabbed a new box to scan so they could print the label. The lady in line behind me thought the whole concept was hilarious, fortunately all the writing on it was SFW.
