Its Halloween! Lets just have some fun. Post up those costume pics.
We just went through 725 pieces of candy. At one point, I counted 20 kids in our neighbor’s driveway. Then they came to our house.
So. Many. Kids.
Big this year:
Batman
Mario Bros.
Kittens
That aged ghost thing
A few Hulks and Scoobie Doos.
The usual ghosts and ghouls.
Oddly/sadly, like no Star Wars this year.
no pix. Too busy trying to shoot all of them off the front yard with a nerf cannon, while Mrs Frog was gladly handing out a couple of TW200 tires worth of candy.
These two might not have been youths. They wanted our wine, not candy

Our youngest was an ewok, and it was adorable.
This was my eldest daughter at work today:
For witching hours, she let my youngest daughter use the suit and she went with her friend and her friend's brother:
the little tyke and her little cousin. Little cousin came with an awesome hack, they forgot her bag when we went out Saturday so they used the backpack diaper bag. Backpack candy sack is the way to go, easy to carry, adults think it's cute to load her up.
I wear costumes about every other weekend, this is the best I have right now. It was about 35F and windy, snowed for a bit.
My neighborhood has no sidewalk or lights, I had 2 groups with 5 kids total. One little girl asked to pet my dog so that was cool.
I dressed as a middle-aged fat guy and sat on my back porch with a cigar while my wife gave out candy.
In reply to Toyman! :
I did too! The wife is a teacher but doesn't dress up. Our "child" though....
she's the wife's therapy dog at school and she wore that almost all day. Kids loved it.
My golden, Moose
And my MIL's rescue - a Chihuahua mix who was recovering from a .22 round to the thigh when she rescued him. His name is Gunner. His sombrero was a huge hit with the kiddos this year
I
My favorite costume this year was a single woman. She wore a lampshade on her head, and had a box around her waist with 2 drawers, an iPhone and a hair brush on top, and underwear hanging off the corner.
She was a one night stand.

I had one of my nice lightsabers (you know, the once that are a couple hundred bucks from the mouse himself) set up next to my door in case darth vader came by. Alas, I had about 12 kids. No darth vaders.
My favorite costume from last night. Some kid dressed up in a big box - wait, hear me out - and painted up as a stick of butter. So simple, yet so creative.
Lots of ninja, princess, Spider-Man and Harry Potter school costumes.
One of my neighbors caught a short Spider-Man taking a bucket of candy from a porch. Spidey and his sticky web fingers!
No pics, but our family of 4 went as the Tangled cast- a 4 year old Rapunzel, an 11mo old Pascal the Chameleon, my wife as Mother Gothel, and myself as Flynn Ryder. I do not enjoy dressing up, but even I have to admit it was a cool getup for some wholesome family fun on Halloween.
Grand kid was one of many Daniel Tigers out there.
HiJack? Something I Made Thread: the 4X4 scraps, stained with a watered down orange color stain and a stick jammed into the top = Halloween centerpiece.
Miles and I went as a vampire and vampire slayer for a Halloween party, and then again to hand out candy last night. The incredibly fat cat went as a little hot dog and was less than thrilled.
