Finding not only can you retire earlier than you thought, but that you darn well should. Like 10 years earlier!
Happy dance time!!!!
Doesn't mean I won't continue working in some fashion, but I'll be collecting a pension check a whole lot earlier than I thought I would be.

Wow. Incredible. I remember when you were delighted to be able to type a complete sentence again. Now this!! Great!
On the other hand, I trust that I'll be breaking the opposite of this news to this same message board in 2045.

I'm tired today.
Does that count?
Congratulations!
You should really talk to your boss about that.

Congratulations! Funny, extreme happiness to me was retirement at 65 years old last year. You're very fortunate to be able to do it early.

I dream of retiring... but I fear that's all it will be.
Congrats.
I am so very jealous. I will probably die while working and get docked for the cost of the ambulance.
Congratulations! That's gotta feel really, really good...

Congrats. Take a little time off before you go hunting for another job. Gives you time to catch up on all those projects you never had time for before.
I took a year off and went back to a full-time job for 5 years then took another year off before picking up a part-time job until I could start drawing S.S.

Congrats. I just hope yours was not as hard earned as my Father's early retirement. 100% military disability isn't much fun until you can triple dip.

my Father did that at age 23... 45 years ago
Yea, I'm still pretty stunned and happy. I want to keep learning and making sure there's no icky fly in the ointment. But at the moment, more happy dancing!
