BOOM!! BOOM!! AHHHH!! AHHHH! Love those fireworks. Going to my wife's son's house today to enjoy lot's of beer, ribs, fireworks and good friends. Happy Birthday, USA!! And, as Jensenman said, we all need to remember our servicemen and women that make it possible to have this to celebrate. What are the rest of you doing?
I'm taking a pass in conjunction with leave (which is a no no) and going to rest up today for tomorrows autocross!!!
Happy Birthday America! May I have some cake?
Thank you to all of our service men and women, who have made this day possible.
Happy Independence Day to all, especially our soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. GIVE 'EM HELL!
Fireworks and ribs are awesome, but if you truly love liberty, PLEASE honor our big-brass-balled founding fathers, to whom we owe the utmost respect and admiration, by taking a few minutes to read the Declaration of Independence. As you read, keep in mind that our country was founded with the idea that Government does not "grant" us rights. We were endowed by our creator with, among others, our rights to life liberty and property.
Remember that our government has NO powers other than those outlined by the governed, and that we have not only the right, but the responsibility to "throw off" a government which ignores this truth. Ah hell, they said it much better than I ever could.
The baddest mother berkeleyers you know said: ...mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.
Now let's go blow some E36 M3 up and eat meat off the bone! God bless you all, and stay off the damned roads tonight. Too many amateurs.

Ooo! You're going to heck in a handbasket! I always thought that was the stupidest rule in the reg.
Get plenty of autocrosses, I mean "drivers' training" in before your next trip overseas- the enemy likes to use IEDs instead of orange cones. Plays hell with the PAX scoring....
