Mr. George Thorogood turns 60 today. Happy birthday to the man who put Delaware on the map.

George Thorogood did NOT put Delaware on the map.

He might have tried but most people still don't know where we are.

Happy 60th, George.

He came and played at our local Walmart a couple years ago. It was great. I was like 4 ft away watching him play at a stage set up in the middle of the store. Well, it was a Supercenter, after all.

my first rock'n'roll show was George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers at the Smith Center on the campus of George Washington University in Washington DC. IIRC it was March of 1985. 3000 tickets, general admission, we cut school and got a case of beer and hung out on the sidewalk waiting for the doors to open. outstanding, high-energy show.

HBD Lonesome George!

George was the last concert I've been to, back in 1994. It was so good I haven't bothered going to any others since they won't compare.
