My sister and niece are here for Easter. She's 8. After helping the kids find all the candy filled eggs in the yard she declared that it's her best Easter......EVER! 
It's a good day. 

Not making it in to church today.  I should, but wifey would probably spend the whole time in the bathroom throwing up, so we're not going. I'd probably start crying anyways, as my uncle--one of my favorite people ever--passed on Easter last year. Just too much for me to be in church today.

Just got back from church.

april fools, i go to the church of the holy cone.

Hope everyone enjoys the day no matter how you celebrate or what it means to you.  I’m going to have fun finding eggs with the kids.  Easter on april fools day is a bit odd, my kids didn’t have anything waiting for them this morning.  I’m not sure they understand the April fools concept yet, but some new hot wheels fixed the air of disappointment.

Had some nice time with the family despite the wife and daughter coming down with Ebola (flu).  Bellies are stuffed and children are sugared.

Had a great day with various parts of our family. The grandkids had fun hunting for eggs. Nice way to end the weekend.

I made the sunrise service at the beach and the service at my parents church. There were huge crowds at both. 

No eggs were hidden for the grandkids, but a couple of chocolate rabbits were missing ears the last I checked. Then we told the grands to go fly a kite...so they did.

Indeed it was a happy Easter for me, my first-ever autocross! 

Easter being on April Fool's Day apparently made for some good homily material for the priest at our church.  He even tossed in some funny baseball opening day references.  Thoroughly enjoyed it.  

Kiddos got mildly sugared and we had the best smoked ham ever, and drank lots of wine.  

Cadbury everything will be on sale tomorrow.
