We rang in the new year with our tradition of watching Bob Ross create something happy and magical..
Janel is currently lying on the couch watching hockey with two cats on her lap. So happy mew year it is!
We watched Phantasm–yes, with the lights on.

We celebrated the evening with some friends at a tiny local Jazz club last night - Schwartz's Point, if you're ever in Cincinnati and you like jazz or blues it is the place to check out. We had appetizers, drinks, dinner, and a great Jazz quartet while sitting at the most cozy and intimate table in the whole place. It was a perfect way to retire 2023 and kick off 2024. Last year was another great year and here's hoping this year is even better!

The cheese cake we got for after dinner must have been loaded with caffeine. I was up till 4:00 am. It was ok though as everyone had a big piece so everyone in the house was up as well.
I accidentally purchased a new to me car to start the year. Lol.
